Darik's Boot and Nuke (DBAN) is a self-contained boot floppy that securely wipes the hard disks of most computers. DBAN will automatically and completely delete the contents of any hard disk that it can detect, which makes it an appropriate utility for bulk or emergency data destruction.

Better Than a Hammer and Sandpaper!
I have the job of setting up and swapping out systems, Upgrades. The biggest headache is preparing a system to leave the Mothership. In this very nasty world, people steal identities. A system is a map to your ID's everywhere you visit. Boot and Nuke is perfect for TOTALLY eliminating any and all traces from "Inquirering Minds." Thank you Darik for helping me to the "Dark-Side?" by removing the guiding light to data forgotten.
