Release Notes: New features include Oracle PL/SQL procedural language support, shrinkable tablespaces, read support on HADR standby, index compression, online schema change, SQL*Plus compatibility, online table move, read committed isolation level (statement snapshot), scan sharing, the TRUNCATE statement, a statement concentrator (cursor sharing), added modules (Oracle packages), XML support in MDC and DPF tables, local partitioned indexes, weak typing, and CREATE OR REPLACE. LOB and XML can now be inlined and compressed.
