Release Notes: The new datatypes NCHAR, NVARCGAR, NCLOB, and UDF now support default and named arguments. Transportable tablespaces were implemented. There is no longer any need to tune Linux IPC kernel settings. Code obfuscation is supported for the body of a routine, trigger, or view. A new compatibility feature was added for applications compatible with Sybase ASE.
