Cypher is an AI program that generates the RDF graph and SPARQL query representations of plain language input, allowing users to speak plain language to update and query databases. With robust definition languages, Cypher's grammar and lexicon can quickly and easily be extended to process highly complex sentences and phrases of any natural language, and can cover any vocabulary. Equipped with Cypher, programmers can begin building next generation semantic Web applications that harness natural language.

Release Notes: Patterns involving named entities were returning pattern instance URIs. The logic has been changed to omit the internal and grammar repositories from the lexicon search targets. A bug dealing with cached word sense results has been fixed. The Meta Language Ontology, draft specification 1.0 is now complete and fully implemented. Gestalt logic has been added to lexical processing.
Release Notes: cypher.report.html.refresh was added to control refresh time in HTML interface. cypher.input.files was added to control whether cypher.input.dir directory will be crawled. cypher.output.commit was added to control if RDF output will be loaded into cypher.repository.output. cypher.output.format was added to specify serialization for RDF output. cypher.http.base was added to set the namespace of minted URIs and also the URL of the Cypher Web service.

Release Notes: The HTML report interface has been updated to include a paraphrase of input. cypher.report.html.refresh has been added, which controls the refresh interval for HTML report pages. Pluggable repositories are supported, and different Sesame SAIL implementations may be used. A bug in HTML report that miswrote HTML files has been fixed. A bug that caused SeRQL to be produced for SPARQL output has been fixed. A paraphrase bug has been fixed.
Release Notes: URIs are minted for Cypher pattern types and functions (i.e. Clause.subject is now &namespace;/Cypher/subject). A Java API is availible for accessing Cypher from other Java applications. A cypher.report.html startup property has been added. HTML reports have been added; open the index.html folder to view them. Each report page auto-refreshes to show updated reports.
