Release Notes: A crash that occurred on some systems for applications built with the CodeWarrior development suite of tools has been fixed. These applications included Toast Titanium and MSN Messenger.
Release Notes: Support has been added for Unsanity's WindowShade minimize in place functionality. Applications in the login list that are sent to another desktop no longer cause an automatic desktop switch. Desktop switching performance was improved. Saving window placement information across logins has been improved. Applications that are quit and restarted during a login are no longer pushed to their old desktops.
Release Notes: This release fixes bugs that prevented several applications from being detected and managed, a 1 pixel transparency box around the background of the default skin, and a focus follows mouse bug that prevented it from working with the preferences window.
Release Notes: Several crashing bugs in the latest version of Panther have been fixed. Moving and activating of OroborOSX X11 windows has been added. A bug has been fixed where automatic desktop switching to Microsoft Word and several other applications that use palette windows was not working properly. A bug has been fixed where incorrect desktop switching would occur for some applications that brought up interactive sheet windows. A bug where desktop switching would occur when selecting a menu in the menu bar has been fixed.
Release Notes: The 'hide desktop icons' HotKey now correctly hides and shows desktop icons. Dropdown sheets from applications are now properly moved to the desktop of their parent window. The finder window that appears when opening a disk image is no longer occasionally pushed back behind other windows. VirtualDesktop no longer makes a new window and application active when another application quits. DesktopConsole and other non-standard windows at the desktop level now pick up settings from the Applications preferences section.
Release Notes: A Panther crash has been fixed. This release allows DesktopConsole to be made not sticky. All new users will get an entry for the 3rd party WorkStrip application in the applications list.
Release Notes: Automatic desktop switching now works consistently. Automatic movement of starting app windows works properly. Closing an app no longer causes a desktop switch. All windows are properly assigned desktops and don't get shuffled to the Easter Egg desktop. Bugs with Flash MX and other applications where new windows were getting placed behind existing windows are fixed. Eudora no longer causes an autoswitch to its desktop when the task window comes up. Desktop switching is faster. The toggle pager visibility HotKey brings VirtualDesktop pager to the front. The Inkwell window no longer flickers.
Release Notes: A bug that caused the application focus to jump back to your last focused application when changing applications has been fixed. All settings inside of your applications list now take precedence over the save windows option in the "Extras" tab of the preferences. Applications set as sticky inside the applications list are now properly made to appear on every desktop. If an application is closed and restarted without closing VirtualDesktop, the application will now start up on whatever desktop you are on (unless overridden in the application list preferences).
Release Notes: A bug causing Pager hanging and startup crash seen on some systems are fixed. Automatic desktop switching is cleaned up and now works more consistently. Closing windows and applications does not cause a jump to another desktop. Support is improved for Apple's X11, XDarwin, and OroborOSX. Dragging the pager against the edge of the monitor no longer causes a desktop switch. On multiple monitor setups, dragging the pager against the bottom no longer causes the pager to jump to another monitor. Shift clicking onto a desktop in the pager no longer brings all windows of the current application forward.
Release Notes: A bug where random Cocoa application windows were appearing on all desktops has been fixed. Desktop background changing is now significantly faster. Synergy and Universal Access windows now appear on all desktops by default. Preference pane bundles can now be added to the application list using the add button.
