CSS is a large collection of scripts (over 1000) and their supporting modules. There are tools for a wide variety of tasks, many sysadmin and text manipulation related, some mere finger convenience. There are even a few manual entries.

Release Notes: In histbackup, --link-dest can be easily used, -i summary mode was added, and assorted minor changes were made. In vt, vtpack, and cs.venti, a tar-like command line mode was added and assorted updates were done. filter_fd was drastically simplified and rearranged to arrange the inner command in the base process instead of a child. cs.logutils now features ANSI colors and many other updates. Bugfixes and improvements were made to portfwd. A new prefix script was added to report OK/FAIL for commands. Many other minor updates were made.
Release Notes: More obsolete cmderr uses were removed from the scripts. cs.later now releases memory promptly and incldues named LateFunctions and logging support. cs.logutils received an update for the @pfx decorator, improvements to LogTime, and assorted smaller changes.
