CrystalAudio is a FVWM-Crystal configuration tuned for use on an audio workstation. It has many new applications for the menu, including many sound-related applications and improved sound controls. It launches qjackctl at startup. The final goal of the project is to make the FVWM-Crystal menu compatible with the freedesktop specification and to provide some tools to generate the menu entries and icons from desktop and icon files provided by the applications in the system.

Release Notes: The principal new features are a freedesktop friendly menu, a tool to convert a FVWM-Crystal 3.0.4 system menu, and another tool to generate FVWM-Crystal menu entries and icons from the desktop files and icons provided by applications. A fork of FVWM-Crystal is also provided on the Web site. It is meant for use by package managers. The menu entry generation works with the new type of desktop files. Support for the old type of desktop file has not yet been added.

Release Notes: This release adds many new recipes as well as a few minor bugfixes. The bugfixes are in fact a workaround for the Qt/KDE systray implementation that is compatible with nothing else. Another workaround is for the alsaplayer GTK interface that doesn't quit well when shutting down the system.
