          Release Notes: The default kernel is now 2.4.23. About 70 packages were updated, such as GCC 3.3.2, Perl 5.8.2, Sendmail 8.12.10, and Firebird 0.7.

            Release Notes: The default kernel is now 2.4.21. GNU coreutils is now included and replaces file/sh/textutils. GTK+ 2.2.x is now included. About 50 other packages were updated, such as GCC 3.2.3, Binutils 2.14, Sendmail 8.12.9, and Mozilla 1.4.

              Release Notes: Basic support for IPv6 was added. A kernel ptrace security patch was added. Pkgconfig and freetype2 packages were added. About 50 other packages were updated, such as XFree86 4.3, Glibc 2.3.2, GCC 3.2.2, and Mozilla 1.3.

                Release Notes: Basic support for JFS and PCMCIA were added. GNU locate was replaced by slocate. About 50 other packages were updated, such as Linux 2.4.20, Glibc 2.3.1, and GCC 3.2.1.

                  Release Notes: The highlight in this release is the transition to GCC 3.2. This release also includes about 50 package updates, such as Linux 2.4.19, XFree86 4.2.1, OpenSSH 3.4, Sendmail 8.12.6, Perl 5.8, and pkgutils 5.0.

                    Release Notes: There are about 45 package updates including glibc 2.2.5, XFree86 4.2, and kernel 2.4.18. Mozilla 0.9.9 is now the default browser. Pkgutils 4.1 provides means to protect selected configuration files from being overwritten when upgrading packages. MD5 passwords are also enabled by default.

                      Release Notes: A ports system (somewhat similar to *BSD ports) was introduced in this release. There are about 50 package updates, 8 new packages, and an upgrade to kernel 2.4.17.
