crompose
Crompose is a suite of shell scripts that can extract rasterized pages from a multi-page document file (PS, PDF, or djvu). It can optionally impose them after having cropped white margins. This saves both trees and your sight.

Release Notes: This release adds psselect support for random access to PostScript; now there are two modes to rasterize PS files. A helper to actually print borderless in Unix, stretched_ps.sh, has been added. Direct production of borderless PostScripts in impose.sh has been added.

Release Notes: This release adds horizontal mode (which should be probably called vertical; it depends if one talks about the line of imposing or layout of imposing. Call it portrait.) Fullblack mode has been added. Some innocuous debugging messages have been silenced, but some remain. Permissions bugs have been fixed. Non-Slax Linux users' feedback is needed, especially about these kind of issues.
