C++ Internet Server Framework

The aim of this project is to provide an easy way for developers to build internet server processes. It provides the framework for single-process, single-threaded, concurrent daemon servers which use non-blocking sockets. The developer implements the algorithm for dealing with the data, and the framework takes care of the sockets: reading and writing to them, selecting which are ready to read and write from, error checking, and closing sockets.

    Release Notes: A Changelog was added. A bounds checking assertion on the selector network_connection array was added. The selector network_connection array is now initialized. The number of waiting connections for a TCP port is now a tcp_connection argument.

      Duplicated work?
      The description of this project covers the same as a project that
      I have been working on for the past five years. This project (libcw)
      is not released to the public yet but it is in a nearly finished, stable,
      state. I propose to cooperate on libcw instead of reinventing the
      wheel :), or at least have contact before starting a duplicated project.
