Contineo is a Web-based document management system. It assists its users by managing documents in most popular formats. Contineo aims to fulfill all phases of the document lifecycle. You can create and develop documents by using office software. With contineo itself, you can publish, search, and manage the versions of documents. Furthermore, you can communicate with other users directly or via email.

Release Notes: This release comes with a completely reworked AJAX-based user interface, with a simplified setup procedure, heavily improved search performance, SOAP/WSDL based Web services, tree-based document navigation, a new help system, and several other improvements.


Release Notes: Some compatibility issues with various browsers were fixed. Contineo now works correctly on IBM WebSphere and Oracle Application Server. The install guide and the Web service interface documentation were updated. Creating several email accounts works again. Uploading documents with no keywords works again. Keywords are extracted if the document is uploaded as a zipped folder. A document's language must not be specified while uploading a document through the Web service interface.

Project dismissed in favor of LogicalDOC
The project Contineo being retired by the development team in favor of the new DMS LogicalDOC. LogicalDOC 3.6 is 100% compatible with Contineo 3.5. All users are encouraged to switch to the new platform since contineo will not be further supported.
