Release Notes: Concurrency bugs were fixed in IPMI SOL connections. Support was added for IPMI SOL cipher suite IDs, privilege levels, and workaround flags. Support was added for disabling fcntl locks on console log files. Note that configuring "--with-freeipmi" now requires freeipmi-1.0.4 or later.

The server execpath configuration directive and the '-F' (foreground) command-line option were added to the daemon. Daemon behavior was changed to return fatal errors to the shell if possible. Environment variables were sanitized and unneeded file descriptors were closed in child processes. A potential deadlock in the signal handlers was fixed.
Release Notes: A bug where a failed telnet connection would segfault the daemon was fixed.
