Release Notes: An XFT problem was fixed. configure.in problems with Xdbe were fixed. A new $tail object was added (see conkyrc.sample). use_spacer was added to config. ${execbar} was added. Memory percentage was added to top output. An initial cairo backend was added. Conky now recognizes the tab character correctly. A simple config option was added to print to stdout (out_to_console). Top output was added. MPD support was finished. noswap and i2c patches were added.
