Just select the Open Source Version (rather than the supported version). The Open Source Version does not require any passwords.

Installer Password?
The installer for the Compiere client asks for a
password to continue. Anyone know what this is
about? Can't really proceed with installation without
installing the client software. So any help here would
be grand.
