All releases of Compaq Smart-2 Driver

Release Notes: This release changes the driver to use the new 2.4 kernel PCI APIs. This changes how all cards are detected. This adds some new ioctls for adding/deleting volumes while the driver is online. Code to request/release the io-region used by the cards was added. A small fix was made to the flush on unload.

Release Notes: Version 2.4.4 uses the new 2.4 kernel DMA APIs to support IA64 machines with over 3G of memory. These cards are only capable of doing 32-bit DMA so in a 64 bit system they will be using bounce buffers, so set your "swiotlb=" appropriately.

Release Notes: This release fixes a bug with revalidating the volume after the partition table had been changed. With older version updating, the partition table of d15 would make d0 have a disk size of 0.

Release Notes: New additions include modinfo information and an ioctl to return PCI bus information. The buffer for the pass-thru commands was increased to 1024.

Release Notes: Support for the SmartArray 431, and a couple of bug fixes.

Release Notes: Besides a few of bug fixes, support for the Compaq Integrated Array Controller and the Compaq Smart 4200 Controllers have been added. Note: This driver no longer requires the DAC960 patch. This is patch has been generated against the 2.2.10 kernel. This version of the driver has already been accepted into the 2.2.10ac11 kernel.

Release Notes: This is a pre-release of version 1.0. If you have the resources to put lots of load on the controller in a 'semi-production' environment for a few days at a time please do so.
