Version 0.1 of Computer History Graphing Project
Release Notes: New additions to the graphing engine include a VCG interpreter and a Type field in the syntax. Additions to the data files include Macintosh hardware, info on the DEC PDPs, TOPS-10, RSTS, info on MIT Lincon Lab's computers, updated info on Xerox PARC computers, an updated Apple lisa file, and info on the Data General Nova computers. The tree of Linux 0.* kernels was finished.

Release Notes: This version contains an updated version of the unified parser program, parsech. It can now optionally output a DBM hash containing the parsed data. The documentation has also been updated, in addition to the data trees. More specifically, the NeXT, Palm, Windows, and Apple Darwin trees have all been updated.
Release Notes: A new GTK-based visual browser, a new version of parsech, and updates to the history trees to include the new tree for Palm devices.
Release Notes: The parser system has been rewritten, and there is an HTML output parser. There is also an XML output parser, which uses a newly-created DTD for Comp-hist Markup Language (CHML). There is a new tree for Palm devices, and many other updates to the history trees.
Release Notes: The following items were added and completed: AIX, HP/UX, LSX unix, C parser, Debian, MkLinux, VMS, Wollongong Unix, and CB Unix. The Unix history tree has been 3/4 merged. MacOS and ANS were extended. Red Hat was added. The merge of the Comprehensive Computer Catalogue (CCC) has begun. An HTML parser has been added.

The following items were both added and completed: GNU, Hurd, Plan 9, Linux 2, Xenix, Mach, NeXTSTEP, OpenStep, SunOS, Solaris, LISP, Awk, Nawk, and Gawk, Sh, Csh, Bash, and Ksh, Perl, C++, and NeXT hardware. Darwin, Mac OS X, and OS X Server were rewritten. A status field was added to tovcg.
