Release Notes: This release optimizes use of databases for overview information.

Release Notes: The backend was switched to DBI, but only has been tested with MySQL. The code for updating the overview database from the server was split. The location of the configuration file may now be specified. Bitkeeper is now used for revision control.

Release Notes: Logging has been added in a format similar to the Apache httpd log format. Support for the 'xpath' command and for forcing a 'Followup-To' header on postings in a specific group have been added. A bug in handling GMT and UTC format dates in the 'newgroups' command has been fixed.

Release Notes: A fix for the response to 'list overview.fmt', generation and and storage of 'Lines' headers, a fix for escaping leading dots in lines when sending articles, and allowing header names in any case in 'xhdr' and 'xpat' commands.

Release Notes: New xhdr and ihave support, moving configuration into a configuration file, and other minor changes and cleanups.
