Collaborative Virtual Workspace

The Collaborative Virtual Workspace (CVW) provides a "virtual building" environment where teams can communicate, collaborate, and share information regardless of their geographic location. CVW takes virtual meetings one step further and enables virtual co-location through persistent virtual rooms, each incorporating people, information, and tools appropriate to a task, operation, or service. The software optionally makes use of multicast tools to provide audio and video.

Release Notes: CVW 3.1 is available in the open source repository and contains a recoded version of the client which replaces all of the restrictive third party modules, resulting in a version of the CVW client that is compliant with the open source model, and contains no restrictions on use. For now, the CVW 3.0.3 binary distribution represents the more fully tested and polished version of CVW, and we are making this version available to those who wish to use it.
