Release Notes: A new MediaServer backend to access Picasa Web Albums and a TestServer backend to easily try out items, GStreamer pipelines, or external process pipes. A newly defined D-Bus API with an "org.dlna" interface. Support for dlna-playcontainer URLs. Enhancements to the GStreamer MediaRenderer, which now supports dlna-playcontainer and SetNextAVTransportURI, as well as jumping to previous and next tracks. Support for video items served by Ampache. Base classes for a ScheduledRecording service.


Release Notes: MediaServer backends were added, which allow access to YouTube, miroGuide, Shoutcast TV, the SWR3 podcasts, and a German radio station. Adjustments were made to the Ampache backend to work with newer Ampache versions. Lots of compatibility enhancements were made for different devices. A "port" to the OpenEmbedded platform was made.


Release Notes: This release adds a MediaServer backend to watch movies trailers from the Apple HD trailers site, images hosted at a Gallery site, Lolcats images, BBC podcasts, and videos from ted.com, a Flickr MediaServer backend, transcoding of audio files for DLNA devices (PS3, XBox 360, etc.), several plugins for the Nautilus filemanager for sharing folders, uploading files to MediaServers, or playing files from Nautilus on a UPnP A/V MediaRenderer, and greatly-improved XBox 360 support, including audio transcoding.


Release Notes: A MediaServer backend for DVB-Daemon, a client device and service implementations for BinaryLight and DimmableLight devices, a plugin for Totem, and the first set of unit tests were added. A basic reusable PyGTK based UPnP A/V ControlPoint widget was added, and is used in the Totem plugin. The D-Bus support was reworked. The XBox 360 support was reworked (again). A copy of Louie (http://pylouie.org) is included to solve a setuptools runtime dependency issue. The usual bugfixes and enhancements were made.


Release Notes: A MediaServer backend for Meta Tracker was added. The IP-address detection on Windows was simplified with the help of the optional Python package netifaces. Filename encoding issues are properly handled in the filesystem based MediaServer. A lot of community driven fixes and enhancements were made.


Release Notes: A DesktopApplet was added to easily start a Coherence instance from your desktop's panel. More efforts were made to simplify the ordinary user experience. The backend definition and other options may be specified via command line. The --help output is a bit more usable. A MediaServer backend was added for Ampache. Device implementations were made for BinaryLight and DimmableLight. A little helper to extract device and service XML files and send them was added as a beginning of a UPnP device fingerprint program.


Release Notes: XBox 360 support was reworked and refinements and improvements were made in the client side API. The user experience was improved. The way multiple res elements are ordered was changed. Issues with UPnP stacks and their 'wayward' interpretation of the specs were fixed. There were many bugfixes and enhancements.


Release Notes: DLNA support was improved, particularly for the Sony Playstation 3. A MediaServer backend was added for Shoutcast Internet radio streams. An experimental MediaServer backend was added for the last.fm service. Methods are provided to remove local devices from a Coherence instance. Support for BSD systems was added. An emerging D-Bus interface was added. Platform independence was increased for the Twisted inotify module, using libc when possible. A lot more of the usual bugfixes and enhancements were made.
