CodingTeam is a software forge that is lightweight and extensible. It provides a lot of collaborative tools. With this software forge, projects can benefit from basic features (such as screenshots, downloads, uploads, and news), communication features (such as chatrooms, forums, the OpenForge API, and Jabber/XMPP integration), and development features (such as a VCS code browser, a bug tracker, SVG statistics, timeline, and roadmap). Also provided are community tools (project browsing, tag clouds, notepad, and user profiles).

Release Notes: This release introduces Mercurial SCM support, a very new administration panel (with a lot of new functionalities and access rights management improvements), a private messaging system, and email/XMPP notifications. The online translation system has been updated. A few things have been improved. More than 25 bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: This release comes with a gettext-based online translation system, support for advanced user-rights management, the ability to filter bugs, and support for multiple template themes. There are a lot of minor improvements, but some of the most important are the personal dashboard (a timeline for all the user's projects), the SPAMs filter, and the ability to prevent anonymous users from posting something.
Release Notes: This release introduces a basic template engine based on the alternative PHP syntax, the ability to make a project private, advanced commit hooks, the ability for anonymous users to report a bug or add a comment to a bug, notion of milestone in addition to the affected version, the ability to make the forge non-public (require authentication), and a new Subversion code browser and new timeline. User's briefcases allow users to upload files for their project (e.g. pictures or PDFs for wiki pages).
