Release Notes: Coda now works on 64-bit systems. The client and server were successfully built and used on a machine with em64t extensions with a 64-bit Linux kernel. The new RVM-1.14 and RPC2-2.5 releases also incorporate some essential 64-bit fixes. Another welcome change is that venus now tries to keep cached access rights available for users even across system reboots or client restarts, which should improve life for people who frequently shut down or dual boot their machines.
Release Notes: This is the first public release where Coda clients no longer use connected mode operation. All modifications are logged locally and sent back to the servers in the background.
Release Notes: A wide range of minor fixes and code cleanups.
Release Notes: The program no longer aborts repair when some replicas cannot be found. Lots of duplicate code was removed dealing with vnode lists in the servers. Build fixes were made for gcc 3.2, and configure.in was updated to autoconf 2.5. The vnode bitmaps on the server are kept small. The servers would crash when more than 30000 files are created in a single volume; now the limit is about 240000. Corrections were made to Linux's devfs aliases in the modules.conf file, and fixes for an occasional memory leak and bad free in venus were done.
Release Notes: Fixes for needless refetching of weakly reintegrated files, and a bad optimization error in log-based resolution which occasionally cancelled out the wrong operations, distribution of rpc2 and rvm as separate packages, removal of a bunch of unused code, hierarchical file cache for Coda clients, lazy creation of hierachical directory trees, correct handling of writeback caching on replicated volumes, and filenames in repair files sometimes got truncated.
Release Notes: Features: multiple servers on the same machine, cross-directory rename resolution. Fixes: token file decoding, bugs that led to bitmap corruption in some setups, server crash on some repairs, volume creation on new servers, repair tool to allow spaces in filenames, codacon connecting to bogus address, libal/libdb2 compatibility.
Release Notes: New server user administration tool, updated documentation, improved loadbalancing between replicated servers and many bugfixes.
