CLucene is a C++ port of Lucene, a high-performance, full-featured text search engine. It is, however, faster than Lucene as it is written in C++.

Release Notes: A major rework of the code is in process. The branch intends to bring CLucene up to date with Apache Lucene version 2.3.2. Not all of this code is available yet, but this release is intended for developers who would like to test the new make system and help with any cross-platform issues that have come up during the overhaul.
