Usplash was removed in this release since it's not available in Debian Sid. The "--force" option was added for grub-install (grub2) when it's run with the "-g auto" option. Russian language support was added.

The default resolution is now VGA 800x600 for Clonezilla live. ocs-iso is now able to create recovery ISOs larger than 4.5 GB. ocs-iso and ocs-live-dev were improved to include only Clonezilla-related files. Other files in /live/image/ won't be included.

It supports imaging of large partitions (e.g. 10 TB). The Linux kernel was updated to 2.6.32-12. Partclone was updated to 0.2.9. It has been reported that the speed of this version is much faster than the previous one. memtest86+ was updated to 4.10, syslinux to 3.86, and pbzip2 to 1.1.1.
Release Notes: The UFS filesystem of FreeBSD, NetBSD, and OpenBSD and the VMFS filesystem of VMWare ESX are supported. Multi-core CPUs are supported. XZ/Lzip compression and parallel compression, pxz and plzip, were added. Unmounting the Windows partition is delayed when removing hibernation and page files. Unmounting the testing grub partition is delayed. All the scripts were improved by avoiding the use of "rm -rf" as much as possible. All the language translation files were updated.
