I have used this software in the past and really enjoyed using it. At the time, I was using it on windows.

Since then, I have converted to Ubuntu and would like to find this program again.
Please, does anyone have the files still? Brettw's web page is gone now, hopefully someone still has the files.

Chester is not abandoned. However, I don't necessarily respond to support requests as fast as I probably should (it can take several days, at worst). Chester was released in 1995 -- so it has been eight years. But I am still here, and it is still supported.

The perl script will work decently for about a month, then it starts dying.

The snail mail address for the author is no longer valid, and email goes unanswered
