        Release Notes: After 5 years of development, Chat Everywhere has reached the stability and functionality criteria for the 1.0.0 milestone. The server has been enhanced for footprint and stability, client reporting, and password authentication.

              Release Notes: Some new commands have to been added to "gag" an annoying user (make him speechless), arbitrarily restrict any server command to a minimum level, and change the set of allowed characters in a nick. The configuration file parser has been extended and is more robust.

                  Release Notes: This version is compatible with the MS Internet Explorer Java VM. All dialogs are now centered, and a new "play bip as sound file" option was added.

                    Release Notes: This release is primarily for stabilization purposes. The server now compiles on Linux, FreeBSD, HP-UX, Solaris, and MacOSX, and the Java client is more compatible with MS Java. The new features include a flashy Swing client, a server users list for Web integration, improved logging, and non-blocking I/O for better robustness.

                      Release Notes: This release has nick password protection support, full Java 1.1 compliance, a new connection notification dialog, and an options menu (auto-scrolling, bip on new text, and connection notification). The language files have been into a class to improve the loading time. A Russian translation has been added.
