            Release Notes: A few bugs in build8 have been fixed, mainly related to file permissions and ownership. The packages are signed with the CentOS-3 GPG key , and the ISOs now include documentation. A bittorrent seed for the download of a DVD ISO image is also available.

              Release Notes: All binaries in the RPMs have been stripped of debug info as much as possible and rebuilt. A number of bugs have been fixed including some translation errors and omissions.

                Release Notes: yum.conf was separated from the yum RPM. A cache of yum headers was added (centos-yumcache). The repo structure was rationalised. up2date/rhn-applet was fixed to use the centos yum repository. The 10 sec wait in the initscripts on memory/CPU not supported errors was removed. Centos indexhtml and httpd icons were added. Various bugfixes were made. Updates were made to 24th Feb 04 are included in build. This is a final build/beta before release.

                  Release Notes: A number of cosmetic changes have been made to anaconda and grub. Changes have been made to some packages as a result of upgrade testing from other distributions Some packages were rebuilt with hints to make them closer to the originals.

                    Release Notes: This release consists primarily of bugfixes for anaconda and some changes to product release files. It now installs yum by default.

                      Release Notes: The CD uses isolinux for booting. The distribution now includes all available patches, including the latest versions of the Linux kernel, anaconda, and kudzu. This means that all new hardware should be detected and supported. An Athlon kernel and a working version of yum were added. The compat-* RPMs were branded as CentOS-2.
