Release Notes: AIM changed its protocol again, so all TOC clients did not work. This release fixes the inability to connect to the AIM network. Some Jabber bugs were fixed. PGP works better, and it's also possible to connect to Google Talk. Chat window cycling and coloring of contacts according to the protocol were added.
Release Notes: PGP encryption support was implemented for the Jabber module. The RTF parser used for processing messages from Windows ICQ clients was fixed. A problem with logging on to Yahoo! on Sun Sparc machines was fixed, which may also resolve an issue with Gadu-Gadu on big-endian architectures. Several other small bugfixes were made.
Release Notes: This release fixes a problem where the 'u' letter was eaten by the RTF parser when processing messages from Windows ICQ clients. A memory leak problem when checking RSS was fixed. The Gadu-Gadu module no longer produces a segfault when it was unable to obtain a registration token from the server. A small patch was applied so that it's now possible to start centericq with all protocols set to offline. Another type of external event was added. Users can now execute actions when someone goes offline.
Release Notes: The client now builds with GCC 3.4. A new --debug command line parameter was added, making it unnecessary to re-build the program to enable debug output. IRC accounts can now include two passwords: one for Nickserv and the other one for regular IRC authentication. Online and free-for-chat modes now have the same priority in contact list sorting. Unicode characters in RTF-encoded ICQ messages are no longer lost. A segfault that occurred when accepting Yahoo! file transfers was fixed. For online users, the time for which those contacts have been online is now shown.
Release Notes: The MSN group management problem was fixed. The source no longer fails to compile when the SSL library is not found during the build. Jabber server messages no longer come from a nick that is similar to the server name with an "@" sign at the end. The --no-xtitles (-T) commmand line parameter was added, which disables changing window titles in xterm and screen. An LJ bug, in which the LJ contact got garbled if the whole friends name list grew larger than 512, was fixed. The configure script now checks if libcurl has SSL support enabled in order to avoid MSN malfunction.
Release Notes: Using an HTTP proxy server for connecting IM servers is now possible. Xterm and screen titles are now set to inform the user about the newly received events. Specifying a login/password for RSS feed URLs is now possible. The AOL TOC library was updated, and works much better now. There are several tweaks and bugfixes.
Release Notes: Problems with displaying national characters that used to happen on some systems were fixed. Centericq was moved over the new MSN library. Jabber doesn't block the programming when establishing an SSL connection anymore. Postponed messages are now saved after exiting the program. When trying to send an event from the command line and there is no destination contact on the contact list, it is automatically added now. The LiveJournal part now brings the friends-only items too. Yahoo! works again. Several minor interface-related bugs were fixed.
Release Notes: This version fixes a problem using --disable-proto parameters of the configure script on MacOS and Sun Solaris. The default configuration files were not created on a fresh run and also in case the program couldn't find them, so it was a real trouble. In the multi-contacts selection dialog there are now groups with the possibility to select/deselect whole groups as well. On Gadu-gadu, it's not possible to change user info and search for other users. Registering on Gadu-gadu was added. The Jabber module now sends keepalive packets from time to time. A segfault on bin messages on MSN was fixed.
Release Notes: The MSN protocol is supported again, and support for Gadu-Gadu was added. LiveJournal can now use the HTTP proxy setting from the configuration. ICQ server-side groups were implemented. Codepage conversion was extended. It's now possible to use wildcards for protocols in the sound configuration file. "Sent on" timestamps are now displayed for protocols that support it. It's now possible to scroll a message in the full-screen mode. A feature to show RSS and infocard contacts always online was added. Keybindings are now configurable. Several ICQ and Jabber related problems were fixed.
Release Notes: Survived another Yahoo! protocol change. Moving of contacts between groups has been made easy due to the brand new "Mass group move" feature. Email addresses disappearing from ICQ details has been fixed. RSS can now use proxies with authorization by username and password. Configure couldn't find the iconv library on some systems. Importing of LJ friends can be disabled now. The contact list synchronization feature was removed. The IRC /raw command was implemented. RSS displaying was improved. URLs of links and images are now shown in the text of feed items.
