Great, great, great...
Great program, this is.

Except the little part when i type scandinavian ä / ö / å in msn, centericq adds one extra space between the cursor and the place where cursor really is. It goes like this ( big C - letter means "the blinking part which represents cursor", _ is space ):

abcdC

abcdä_C

abcdäö__C

abcdäöå___C

new line resets the cursors place. A little bug, but annoying. I'm using centericq-utf8, codepage conversion settings: remote UTF-8, local UTF-8, version 4.21.0-2ubuntu1.1, gnome/xcfe4, ubuntu.

though i really should give a look for the source, hmz...

Re: MSN NickName Change?
I love to have a terminal based msn/icq/yahoo client, so centericq fits my needs. But the thing that I really miss is an option to change nicknames (cuz of all the lazy nicknames of some of my "friends" )

Could someone add this feature? I think it would please lots of people using centericq.

Don't use this, if you want PGP!
Centericq's PGP implementation is buggy. It violates the Jabber standard. A detailed bug report can be found on the net. I want to report this for a long time, but the centericq mailing list doesn't send me a conformation mail after subscription :( In other respects a great program, although resizing/redrawing is buggy. Try with ratpoison/screen.

Thanks.
I was looking for a console msn client and came across this project. I am very impressed with it. I find the UI to be very to my way of use/thinking. Currently just using it for MSN and LJ. Thank you for a great piece of software.
