Release Notes: This is a bugfix release with no new features. The following bugs found in 0.9.6 were fixed: X wouldn't start on the standard edition; "X -configure" couldn't generate xorg.conf.new, Alt+Shift couldn't toggle between keyboard layouts, and the Java Plug-in for Firefox didn't work.

Release Notes: This release is a major upgrade. Almost all components were upgraded to their latest stable version, like Linux-2.6.33.2, Xorg-server-1.8.0, and Mesa-7.8.1. 2D/3D support is fairly good on almost all video cards based on ATi and Intel chips. PAE is also enabled in this release, allowing support for up to 64G of RAM. However, this means that you can't run this version of CDlinux on older CPUs (such as 586, K6, or Pentium), not even the mini edition.

I downloaded CDLinux from Distrowatch.com a few days ago and I am evaluating it via VMware Workstation. I've been looking through the main menu and see no program or utility to install new programs? I especially need to be able to install web extensions for firefox (like flash). Thanks! ;)

            Hello,

I'm trying to use the CDLinux standard iso. Is there an install program available to install other packages than .tgz ?
I messed one install up by deleting the desktop icon, am having trouble finding alot of .tgz files, and really don't know
how to install others or make a .md file. Any support help would be useful.

            THX.
