Linux LiveCD Hotspot Server is a live CD for WiFi hotspots that features auto-configuration of end users, a splash Web page, and commercial support. It supports both wired and wireless users, pre-paid cards with time limits and support for monthly users, an integrated firewall, and support for external APs or multiple PCI, PCMCIA, or USB WiFi cards per computer.

Release Notes: This release includes kernel 2.6.29.3, MadWiFi altheros ath9k from the kernel source, and ndiswrappers 1.54.


Release Notes: New additions are Linux kernel 2.6.28, an ext4 file system option, USB WiFi drivers, and Madwifi Atheros version hal 0.10.5.6. Ndiswrappers are not available in this version.


Release Notes: This release updates iptables to version 1.4.0, and shorewall firewall to version 3.4.8. It has updated support for multi ISP, packet shaping, and traffic control in shorewall. The old wondershaper script can still be used as an option.
