Release Notes: Automatic sandbox restarting was fixed to avoid "disconnected mounts". Charset support for locale filenames was fixed. captive-install-acquire(1) was fixed to run at all again. Other FUSE client fixes were made regarding timestamps, user mounts, and automatic modprobe(8)ing.

Release Notes: Support for the Linux kernel's FUSE interface was added. A script for properly unmounting NTFS filesystems on shutdown was added. Updates were made for recent Microsoft binaries and GNU/Linux build environment compatibility.

Release Notes: This release fixes truncation of files if they are being overwritten. It allows reading of hidden/system NTFS files, mounting of some versions of NT 4.0 NTFS disk drives, and mounting the devices of /dev/ataraid/.

Release Notes: This release fixes NTFS unmount, thereby no longer invoking auto-chkdsk when Windows boots. Loss from moving a directory into itself is now prevented. Various NTFS operations safe refusals have been also fixed.

Release Notes: A false identification of several MS-Windows XP driver cabinets as drivers was fixed. If you are already successfully using a Captive NTFS drive, upgrading from 1.1.1.2 would have no effect.

Release Notes: Some types of NTFS disk drives are no longer refused for filesystem operations. Mounted partitions now have public reading file/directory permissions. The set of MS-Windows XP drivers identified as compatible with Captive has been extended, and this release also covers the MS-Windows XP kernels compatibility for Microsoft SMP/PA kernels.

Release Notes: This release simplifies the installation procedure with the availability of a single statically built binary package. This new packaging also brings seamless compatibility with TurboLinux and SuSE. The installer for downloading the Microsoft NTFS driver now works around Microsoft servers connection drops. The same installer also features workarounds for occasional crashes within itself. Simultaneous access to NTFS files by multiple applications is now possible. Filesystems are now mountable by regular users if such is permitted by root.

Release Notes: This bugfix release resolves NT Cache Manager performance and memory leaks for large file transfers to NTFS disks. It also fixes compatibility with various GNU/Linux distributions.

Release Notes: This release fixes stale processes after unmounting (Mandrake affected) and the installer Gnome UI responsiveness. It also introduces global filesystem UID/ GID/mode settings. The general NTFS filesystem performance has been improved.
