Release Notes: The old "Access Rights" page is gone. In its place are far more flexible "Permissions" pages that allow fine-grained control over permissions on a per-user and per-group basis. Hit-and-Run (also known as "Greylisting") can be enabled on a per-stream basis. The old "Stream Redirection" concept has been replaced by "Stream Inheritance". This is more flexible and simplifies the code a lot. A new caching scheme has reduced the number of database queries per email substantially, sometimes by more than 50%.

Release Notes: This release can strip specified attachments from messages and either discard them or store them on the server for retrieval via the Web interface. It can also delay mail with specified attachments to allow virus scanner signatures to catch up (scanning is still performed after the delay.) By default, it rejects mail from domains with bogus MX addresses. Most Web pages that list various tables have a "filter" box to make searching for specific entries much faster. There are many other minor improvements, bugfixes, and performance improvements.

Release Notes: The large and monolithic manual has been split into an installation guide, an administration guide, and a users' guide. A new "My Filter" page provides an interface for users who need more power than the "Simplified Interface", but are not sophisticated enough for the "Expert Interface". Finally, several minor bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: This release includes the "Known Networks" feature that lets you treat mail from known or trusted hosts differently. It also has an auto-whitelisting feature that can whitelist people you correspond with. Hit-and-run detection (aka greylisting) has been improved to reduce the impact of greylisting delays on end-users. Many performance and GUI improvements have been made, and dozens of little bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: CanIt now includes Bayesian analysis, a complete greylisting implementation, and a themable interface. You can also export your blacklists, whitelists, rules, and such to a CSV file, edit them, and re-import them. In CanIt-PRO, Bayes data can be stored per stream, meaning end-users can have their own Bayes database, even though all filtering is done on a central server.
