Calypso MUD

Calypso is a MUD code base written in C. The goal is a code base capable of change and of adjusting readily to different ideas. The motive is to improve a somewhat stale climate in which many of the MUDs today have to flourish.

    Release Notes: The MUD core is now completely independent from the library package. This release includes new library loading procedures that are used with new a command-line parameter, an event scheduler that replaces the control script with an event script database, an auto-run script, special libraries, and a background command-line parameter.

        Release Notes: The 'go' command was fixed (again). A problem with w_shop.are where the room a1_r2 was linked to itself was fixed.

            Release Notes: A client's prompt is now determined by a function rather than a constant. The command input parser has been changed. A control script has been implemented. Libraries and game-specific source have been removed from the codebase.
