Cafu Engine

The Cafu Engine is an all-purpose, modern 3D graphics engine and game development kit. It is feature complete to get you started quickly. It can be used to create a variety of 3D applications, including games, simulations, and training and architectural software. Written in C++, the tools, libraries, and framework have been designed to make the development of new games and other 3D applications easy. They are actively and continuously developed in order to provide the latest technology.

The Cafu Engine (formerly Ca3D-Engine) is now available to everyone as free software under the GNU General Public License! The source code as well as precompiled binaries are available at our downloads page, and the new developers page explains how to get started with the source code quickly. In addition to the compressed archives, the source code is also available directly from the Subversion repository. Learn more at http://www.cafu.de/news

Iím the main author of this engine, and I give it top rating because I think that it contains many great features (especially regarding graphics, but also many others like networking, scripting, sound, portability, open-source, etc.) that make it a great choice.
