Caché Monitor

Caché Monitor is an SQL development tool for InterSystems database Caché. It features an advanced SQL query editor with SQL syntax highlighting, SQL code completion with context sensitive information about database objects (also known as Intellisense), an SQL history buffer for executed SQL commands, SQL code formatting, parallel queries, graphical SQL execution plan with index and selectivity information from every used index in the plan, SQL abbreviations, and much more.

Release Notes: This release can handle database drivers with more than one file. This feature is required for use with Caché 2011.

Release Notes: Caché Monitor can handle more than one Caché database driver at the same time. A docking user interface similar to modern IDEs like Visual Studio and Eclipse is now used. In addition to visual enhancements, this also makes it possible to open and view more than one detail panel at the same time, such as Tables-View from Server1 and Tables-View from Server2, each with its own driver version.

Release Notes: SQL script variable substitution is disabled by default and the variable substitution supports the definition of complex default values. Text output of the query analyzer was fixed. Some more tooltips for the toolbar buttons were added.

Release Notes: This is a minor update version. The variable substitution in SQL scripts now supports setting a default value. Variables are used to build parameterized SQL statements whereas the values are prompted by Caché Monitor when the SQL is executed.
