Burn.app (formerly GSBurn.app) is a GNUstep-based CD burning program. It serves as a frontend for cdrtools, cdrdao, and cdparanoia.

Release Notes: Burn.app now can handle ATAPI drives without SCSI emulation. Burn.app has a new plugin mechanism for audio converters to allow burning of audio formats other than wav or au on music CDs. An initial converter for MP3 files was added. Lots of GUI improvements were made.


Release Notes: Multiple compilation windows are now possible. A complete overhaul of the DnD system was done. Burn parameters are now set in a parameters panel. A new "Burn ISO Image" service was added. The ability to directly use ISO images was added. Bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: The discrimination between audio and data projects has been removed. The track list now employs icons to distiguish between different track types. 'Add File(s)' was removed. Files are now added by using GWorkspace and Dnd or services. Burn.app now uses CDPlayer.app's AudioCD.bundle to load audio CDs and read their TOC. Burn.app can now blank CD-RW media. Burn.app has two inspectors, Track Inspector and Media Inspector, to get additional information about tracks and inserted media.
