Release Notes: The window is no longer forced to be centered. Adds the ability to specify which Python interpreter to use. Makes sure PATH is set early so that bs-ng-wizard is callable, and ensures check_opts. Removes the show_weather function and apm version of show_battery_load. Updates configure to v4.2.1, which brings more parameters, more flexibility and stability, and improved code.


Release Notes: This release features a GTK+3-based, improved UI, heavily improved UI code, and has moved from GConf to configobj for storing configuration. New features include an -n parameter for 'randomfile', a directory 'jump' feature, and bsng-help. This release closes bugs #128 - #137. It removes bs-ng-profiler and rcgenerator (no longer required). The GIT repo has been moved to GitHub.


Release Notes: This release uses GTK+3 and replaces GConf with ConfigOBJ. The custom prompt builder no longer shows themes no longer shipped. A bug in configure that prevented packages from properly building has been fixed. Since some display managers don't source profiles, this release checks to see if its profile has been sourced. ConfigOBJ rcgenerator and bs-ng-profiler aren't required anymore, and have been removed. The documentation and profile have been improved.


Release Notes: This release fixes a possible startup bug on foreign setups, fixes dirinfo-wrappers to properly go out of the way, then disables and properly removes GConf-Schemas. The build sytem was revised, and the Debian packaging scripts were (mostly) updated to the 3.0 (quilt) format.


Release Notes: Several bugs have been fixed (like build issues or incompatibilities with the Linux console). DirInfo has been significantly revised and updated to Revision 2 Draft 5. Now all parts are translatable. The documentation has been updated and partly rewritten. Many new functions were added (like for converting between decimal & co and base32/base64, progress bars).


Release Notes: This release fixes several bugs (e.g. all functions now support arguments with spaces inside, and working around an ugly PyGTK bug). There are several new functions for various purposes (like functions for bookmarking directories or getting GIT info). 4 styles and two 2 functions have been replaced with better approaches. The custom prompt builder has a toolbox and a show help button. The GUI is now resizable. A First run wizard has been added. The documentation has been significantly revised. A Spanish translation was added, and the German, Russian, and Italian translations updated.


Release Notes: Several small UI bugs were fixed. The PyGTK bug has really been worked around. Some small UI changes have been made. Ayoli style has been added. The Comboboxes in the UI now have the current set value as the active entry on startup. NanoCFG gained three new options. On bash startup, the patch-level is now also logged. Several new aliases and functions have been added or improved: reload, rd, random, randompw, dbg_view, dbg_verbosity, top10, crypt, d2u, u2d, git_bzip, git_xz, get_gnome, and get_xfce. All screenshots and docs have been updated. All internal stuff is now recorded.


Release Notes: Two new functions have been added to work with processes (psgrep and pskill). bs-ng-profiler and rcgenerator didn't load bs-ng-echo; this has been fixed. A bug in PyGTK that caused parts of the UI to not work has been worked around.


Release Notes: Since version 7.8, sixteen minor and major bugs have been fixed. The UI-Code has been majorly refactored. A new bash-based configure script is available. An additional function for converting between different types of numbers (dec, hex, oct, bin) has been added. The Custom-Prompt-Builder has been improved (Undo/Redo/Empty/Scrollbars). The German, Italian, and Russian translations are completely finished. The documentation has been undergoing a major revision.
