Release Notes: This release brings significant changes to the boot logger. top and iostat are no longer used, as the logger gets all the necessary data from /proc directly (meaning more accurate information with less overhead). Init scripts are no longer patched; the logger is started by the kernel in place of /sbin/ init and has to explicitly enabled in GRUB/LILO.
