BookBase

Bookbase stores each of your books in a MySQL database by its unique ISBN. Searches on your collection retrieve books by title, author, publication / copyright date, publisher, cover type and price, or even when or how many times you've read the book. Any entry can be modified or deleted with ease. Report printing is in the works.

          FreeBSD Compile
I downloaded the source for BookBase, but had some problems initially trying to compile on FreeBSD.

I am using FreeBSD 5.2.1-RC2. After some locate commands, and a little intuition, I had to do the following, then run 'gmake clean' followed by './configure':

          setenv CPPFLAGS "-I/usr/local/include/mysql"

          setenv LDFLAGS "-L/usr/local/lib/mysql"
