Blosxom.PHP

Blosxom.PHP is a port of Blosxom to PHP, a lightweight but feature-rich weblog application. It is designed for simplicity, usability, and interoperability in mind. Users can create, edit, delete, and move blog entries, categories, and parameters on the command line, via FTP, or with WebDAV.

Release Notes: This release is now PHP5-compatible. It fixes some typos, outlook problems, robustness issues, and other errors. It fixes the date filter when metadata is not used, and the force file is now deleted after its first use. There were a lot of fixes to the DBA-less functionality, and textual hints were added to the abbreviated day of week names in the calendar.

Release Notes: This release fixes a showstopper which occurred when no metadata was used and makes small cosmetic changes. More release candidates aren't expected.

Release Notes: This release fixes paginating, introduces Blosxom-style permalinks, adds a more robust DBA handler, adds RSS2 and Atompub autodiscovery, adds a better category list, and fixes the referrer counter and other smaller problems.

Release Notes: This release adds monthly archive listing to Modules/Calendar, and adds pagination to blog entries. There is some code cleanup and small fixes.

Release Notes: Changes: completed database handling, author authentication for comment moderation, the ability to move blog entries, and session handling. Fixes: content-type handling of flavours, removal of old breaker code, fixed links in HTML output, removal of links to non-existant archive flavour, the comment preview has been moved below the composing form, and fixed magic quotes handling in comments.

It is more descriptive now. About spelling: it is pronounced as it's
parent project (Blosxom: like blossom), with a dot-p-h-p in the end.

For those of us with less than 40+ hours a day free time to keep up with the world, what is Blosxom? It would be very good if the descriptions of projects on FM (and everywhere else) were just a bit more descriptive.
