Release Notes: This release adds a "Smart Ratio Match" processing option. The new matching functionality allows BIRT to resize a mixed set of portrait and landscape images while maintaining the correct orientation of each image.


Release Notes: The format (PNG, JPEG, etc.) of images can now be changed as they are resized. Lossless image formats now produce smaller output files. The build system should now work out of the box on standard Linux distributions. The output file name suffix is now inserted in the correct place.
