Release Notes: Running with restricted privileges is now allowed. The community list filter operation was added. Several problems were fixed in the filter syntax, including several conflicts in the grammar and a bug in (a..b, c) pair patterns. Pair patterns were made orthogonal. Term expressions in pair patterns are allowed without additional parentheses. Several comma separated values are now allowed in switch cases. Many bugs were fixed.

Release Notes: The Linux kernel route attributes krt_prefsrc and krt_realm were added. The BGP option "med metric" related to MED handling was added. Constants from /etc/iproute2/rt_* files may now be used. Several bugs were fixed.

Release Notes: Proper iBGP was implemented and can be used with IGP. Multipath support (OSPF and static) was added. L2 link state detection is done. IPv6 router advertisements were added. OSPF reconfiguration was greatly improved. Point-to-MultiPoint interfaces (OSPF) were added. Minor changes and improvements were made in configuration file grammar. Community list matching was improved. The default for handling missing link-local addresses on route servers was changed. Use "missing lladdr drop" for the old behavior. An important bug was fixed for OSPF.
