Release Notes: A completely new incarnation of the server software, which is now based upon Apache Struts. This version of the server has a more modern look, previously unavailable features such as a poll/quiz generation module, and is generally much more robust (particularly in the area of file sharing among collaborators).


Release Notes: Changes in this release include tweaks to the GUI to make options more clear for new users. This gives more prominence to the Web-based shared filesystem, BioFS. Various bugs have been fixed, including a few compatibility issues with Mac OS X.


Release Notes: This release features a new version of the collaborative VMD molecular viewer module that enhances online molecule sharing and also supports Mac OS X. WebDAV file sharing enhancements have been made to fix some API issues on Windows and Linux. Support for job submission to NCSA Teragrid machines has been added, and the administration module has been tweaked to be more user friendly. In addition, the Web page documentation has been improved for users.


Release Notes: Major scaling improvements on job submission to supercomputers. Enhancements to WebDAV compatibility with the BioFS filesystem. VMD launching from the Control Panel with the /vmd command. Users no longer have to re-login to BioCoRE to join new BioCoRE projects. This is the final version before Java 1.4 is a requirement. There are various other minor features and bugfixes.


Release Notes: The VMD State code has been revised so that files on the hard drive can be automatically copied to the BioFS. Control Panel "active" tabs now have an asterisk appear in front of their name for compatibility with Java 1.4 on Mac OS X. Files saved via WebDAV to the BioFS now notify the java Control Panel. There are various bugfixes.


Release Notes: Support for the NCSA Linux cluster machines Platinum and Titan has been added to Job Management. A user can "hide" projects so that they don't see them, but are still members of them. Users can create public areas of their projects that all BioCoRE members can access. Users can now choose whether or not they want to show links to next/previous unread messages in the Message Board. There are bugfixes in WebDAV support, the Java Control Panel, and other areas.


Release Notes: The source code is now available. A bug where shared molecular visualizations were not always working right with VMD on Windows was fixed. Globus help/support was made more prominent in the supercomputer account linking module.
