The Bio2RDF software is a package which resolves bio2rdf.org semantic Web identifiers corresponding to bioinformatics data and knowledge bases into RDF files which can be consumed by any generic RDF processor.

Release Notes: The configuration RDF URIs were changed so that they do not rely on http://bio2rdf.org/. More statistics gathering functionality is provided. An initial system was implemented to autogenerate providers and queries to include extra information into results, based on what providers are known for a list of queries.
Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. The namespace match method all was fixed. RDF rule orders are now imported correctly. Static RDF/XML inclusions were fixed. Default providers are no longer included multiple times for the same query.
Release Notes: This release added RDF-based configuration and the ability to update the configuration while the server is running. Support for sophisticated profiles was added so that users can pick and choose sources without having to change the basic configuration sources that are shared between different users. If users want to add or subtract from the base configuration they can create a small RDF file on their server and use that file to pick which sources they want to use and which queries they want to be able to execute.
Release Notes: The changes in 0.2.2 are mostly bug fixes from 0.2.1, but there are also a number of new queries. linksns finds the reverse links that exist in a particular namespace. The syntax is linksns/targetnamespace/namespace:id. searchns wearches for a particular search term in a given namespace. The syntax is /searchns/targetnamespace:searchTerm. label: the syntax is /label/namespace:id. constructnoextras: the syntax is /constructnoextras/namespace:id. constructnodefaults: the syntax is /constructnodefaults/ns:id.
Release Notes: This release provides direct access to the Bio2RDF SPARQL endpoints by resolving the normalized Bio2RDF URIs to RDF/XML, including input and output normalization of the URIs which appear on a given sparql endpoint.
