Release Notes: This release added a search engine, two new template styles (martin and mwolson), support of jpegtran with MMX, some miscellaneous tools, a few bugfixes, and an FAQ.
Release Notes: A GTK+ graphical interface has been added to edit image description fields. An "ignore" directive has been added with a command line option, so that entire albums can be ignored. There is a new option to add link to .xml description files in HTML album, to ease the edition of description fields. Number, sizes, and size names of scaled images can be personalized in config files or per album. BINS uses generic "Software" and "Owner" exif tags instead of Canon-specific ones. Some other functionalities and corrections have also been made.
Release Notes: Configuration files can be used to personalize BINS, and parameters can be used in album or image description files too. An install script has been added and a Debian package is now available in Sid (Debian unstable). New Exif tags (tested with Olympus camera) have been added. Thumbnails can be displayed close to the previous and next link in the image page. A parameter and a commandline switch have been added to choose the style of the templates. Footers are customizable via an HTML template, and some aesthetic changes have been made.
Release Notes: A new details page was added, which displays all available information on file characteristics and DigiCam settings for each picture (with additional data for Canon DigiCams). The charset encoding is now customizable, including support for UTF-8 (Unicode), with generation of the Apache .htaccess for correct encoding in HTTP headers. XML is now used as the description file format (with a utility to convert the old .txt format to the new .xml format). All EXIF attributes are now saved in the XML description file, preventing them from disappearing when the image is modified. The ability to change background color was added, and some cosmetic changes and bugfixes were made.
Release Notes: This version immediately follows SWIGS 0.1.1. New features include I18N support, the ability to define description fields in a generic way, a command line utility to set or edit description fields, use of the EXIF structure to fill automatically some fields, the ability to express the size of scaled pictures in percentages of the original size. Some bugs were fixed to ensure that valid HTML 4.0 Transitional is generated. Optimizations were made to speed up regeneration of the album. Some other minor changes were made.
