BinarySEC

BinarySEC is an intelligent Web application firewall designed to suppress malicious traffic on Web sites and applications. Its artificial intelligence engine learns normal traffic and blocks malicious requests with very high accuracy. BinarySEC secures against a wide range of attacks, including cross-site scripting (XSS), SQL injection, command injection, PHP includes, parameter tampering, buffer overflow, directory traversal, attack obfuscation, and more. BinarySEC for Apache includes a graphical installer and a Web-based administration interface.

    Release Notes: This version integrates a system of red, orange, and green lists. When a request is unknown and abnormal, then it is categorized as an Orange alert. You can recategorize it into a Green alert. These alerts will be deleted and traffic will be normalized on the Web server. If the request was indeed malicious, then you can recategorize it as a Red alert. They will be deleted and new similar requests will be processed as abnormal traffic. The correlation engine was improved and the dashboard and statistics were enhanced.

      Release Notes: This version add new minor evolutions based on feedback from the software's users. The width of the Web interface was increased. More parameters such as Reset brain and Change site mode are now accessible for basic users. The old GNU libc 2.3.3 is now supported. The Unicode decoder was enhanced.

        Release Notes: A bug that prevented, in certain conditions, some modules such as mod_rewrite from running properly with BinarySEC was fixed. This problem only existed on Apache 1.3 with BinarySEC.

          Release Notes: This release adds SuSE Enterprise Edition 10 support and enhances the thread pool engine.
