bibcursed
Bibcursed is a simple curses-based editor for BibTeX bibliography files, especially useful for those who have to maintain a large number of references for a major piece of documentation, like a PhD thesis. It performs everyday functions such as adding, removing and viewing reference entries. Intelligent prompting for fields is used when adding entries so that authors do not have to rely on memory for knowing which fields can and cannot be used for different entry types.

Release Notes: Bugs regarding adding and deleting entries were fixed.

Release Notes: The name was changed from bibtool (which clashed with another project). Screen refreshes take account of the screen size, which should make use within XTerms and the like nicer. Numerous spelling and grammatical errors were fixed. Several usability enhancements were also added, like more obvious navigation through the application.

Release Notes: Documentation fixes to refer to ncurses and curses compilation corretly, renaming of the makefiles, and fixes for the program so that entries can be added to empty bibliography files properly.

Release Notes: This release fixes a bug that occured when searching all fields at once, and adds minor cosmetic changes and updated documentation.

Release Notes: Fixed a problem where more then one record matches the keyword in the `change' option, stopped the program adding lines to the start of the BibTeX file (not a problem, but they were a pain), added some more on-line help. Please note that version 2 (out soon) will be released with a different name to avoid a clash with another 'bibtool' (see homepage).
