    Release Notes: This release offers no new features over the 1.9 release. However, it fixes all known bugs in the file server code. Also, a new tutorial on setting up the bftpd server has been added to the Web site.

          Release Notes: This release fixes a few minor memory bugs, fixes compatibility issues with FreeBSD, and prevents a crash on start-up if there is a problem with the configuration file.

            Release Notes: File sizes larger than 4GB are now displayed properly. When connections are dropped mid-transfer, Bftpd closes the connection and logs the event. Compatibility with FreeBSD has been added. Patches from FreeBSD's branch have been applied.

              Release Notes: This release corrects the display of large files in a directory listing. The documentation concerning xinetd has been updated, and if bftpd fails to create the temporary file bftpdutmp, an error is written to the log file.

                  Release Notes: A serious bug was found in bftpd 1.7 which causes the server to crash while sending files to the client. This effects the 1.7 release only. All users are encouraged to update to 1.8 to avoid this bug.

                    Release Notes: Better compatibility was added for large files. Security was increased, especially where chroot is concerned. The ability to have anonymous users when using plain-text file authentication was added. Some memory leaks were corrected and passive mode has been improved.

                      Release Notes: Due to compatibility problems with 64-bit systems, the code that uses the sendfile function has been replaced.
