• Major feature enhancements

Release Notes: Alpha support was added, including a simplified, x86-like installation. Myrinet and Gigabit are now supported. Web-based cluster administration, cluster status, and job monitoring tools were added. Other new features include hardware health and status monitoring support, Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM) support, a robust batch queuing/scheduler with CLI, GUI, and Web-based interfaces, PXE boot capability, and support for Parallel Virtual File System, NFSv3, and ROMIO. The Beosetup and Beostatus tools were enhanced. This version is built on the 2.2.19 Linux kernel. MPI support was updated via MPIch.
