Beem

Beem is an XMPP (Jabber) client for Android. Beem is compatible with any standard XMPP server or service (including Ejabberd, Openfire, Facebook, or Gmail). It supports SASL, proxying (Socks4, Socks5, HTTP), DNS SRV, and chatting with a specific resource. Beem is available on the Android market and on the software's own Web site.

    Release Notes: The contact list has been refactored to improve performance and source code readability. Trouble with vibration was fixed. Timestamps during chat were added. The menu option (logout, change status, etc.) was improved. Integration with the Android platform is being improved by using the Account API. This will add the possibility to use multiple accounts and see your Beem contacts in the phone Contacts application.
